The Filipino Martial Arts, also known as Kali, Arnis and Eskrima, deal with different areas of weapon and empty hand fighting. One of these is the so called Panantukan, the filipino way of boxing. Based on the same fundamentals like the western boxing, Panantukan is not much oriented in competition but more in streetboxing or self-defense. Because of this there is not only the use of fist techniques, but also the use of hammerfist, palm strikes, elbows, shoulder, ... In addition to that pushes and pulls are use to manipulate the body and break the balance. All of this leads to getting a good self-defense.

In part two of our two part filipino boxing series we show additional hand positions and footwork, empty hands applications of double stick techniques, advanced defenses and counters, drills, body manipulations, foot trapping, sparring and sparring games and Panantukan applications inside the other areas of Filipino Martial Arts.
